About Hannah penn pre-k-8

Hannah Penn Pre-K-8 is one of the schools within the School District of the City of York. At Hannah Penn Pre-K-8, we strive to create a positive culture to help students thrive. Students are encouraged to bring their creativity, willingness to learn, and open minds to receive the best education. There are many support services students can go to within the building. Some of these support services include Communities of Hope, Communities in Schools, CSBBH, and PA Counseling. Other services include one-on-one support, math and reading support, special education services, guidance, and social workers who are committed to seeing students get the services they need to succeed. We also focus greatly on parent engagement and family support that can be beneficial to families as a whole. We offer many parent engagement activities and appreciate it when parents are able to show up for their students in and out of the classrooms. We also offer PBIS rewards to students who are great role models in the classroom and demonstrate P.R.I.D.E. We celebrate with these students monthly by hosting a PBIS event.
