I was born and raised in Lancaster, PA where I grew up playing sports year-round. In 2004, I graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School (2017 McCaskey Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee for basketball, field hockey, and track & field accomplishments). In 2008, I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with minors in Criminology and Athletic Coaching (Played on the MU women's basketball team for four years, was a starter for 3). In 2013, I graduated from Millersville University with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education followed by a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2022. I went on to teach in the School District of Lancaster from 2011-2018 in grades 1-4 before transferring to the School District of the City of York and working at McKinley Pre-K-8 from 2018-2022 in grades 3-4. I became a Math and Science Instructional Coach for the school district from 2022-2023. I am currently the Assistant Principal at Jackson Pre-K-8.
I am married with a three-year-old son, two bonus daughters ages 16 & 12, and a bonus son who is 18. I'm a basketball and football fan (die hard Eagles fan). I enjoy playing with my son, reading, listening to music, watching funny movies, spending time with friends, and cracking jokes.
